A stage of the Vélodyssée in the form of a forest link, the track through the woods gives a feeling of tranquillity reinforced by the scents of the pine forest. You should leave the track to enjoy the nearby ocean beaches at Contis-Plage, Cap de l'Homy or St-Girons-Plage, or those of Lake Léon at the finish. The arrival in Léon will be quiet (be careful, the track runs along the road at the entrance to the village); a market is held every day in the village square from June to September; the Léon lake and its restaurants, its banks with picnic areas, will allow you to have a lunch stop with a view of the lake. You cannot leave the Etang de Léon without visiting the nature reserve or taking a boat trip on the Courant d'Huchet, one of the natural curiosities of the Landes coastline.
