After a passionate and exciting career as an advertising photographer, BBW chose to settle in the Landes, in Onesse-Laharie. Far from stopping photography, he renewed it by a very singular and poetic approach of the forest which surrounds him... His work is different from documentary photography and he only photographs
landscapes. Robert Delpire wrote about him: "Doisneau had his next-door neighbors (as models), BBW has his trees". His images have an impressionist dimension and are close to watercolor. He uses the photo as a "notepad" and recreates the image as close as possible to the emotion felt, freeing himself from the constraints of reality, as a painter would. In a rehabilitated traditional Landes house (formerly a grocery store), he welcomes you to share his work and his passions.
